Form Sorcerer - Portrait of Sigurjón Ólafsson, sculptor
0.00 30 minutes A documentary about the Icelandic sculptor, Sigurjón Ólafsson. Shot between 1978-1984, the film shows Mr. Ólafsson making a portrait in clay of the late president of Iceland, Dr. Kristján Eldjárn. The proces is shown almost from the beginning until the sculpture has been moulded into bronze. The film also deals with some of Ólafsson's other work and a visit is paid to the artists's place of birth, Eyrarbakki, a small village on the south west coast of Iceland.
