This lie earns him the phone number of the beautiful and spontaneous Ann Stevens, who overhears Jack's story and whose parents really are dead. As Jack and Ann grow closer and she asks more questions about his past, Jack is forced to go to extreme lengths to keep the lie alive er, dead.
