TIN has sent a hitman to kill the King but the man is eventually driven away by KONG. HIN grabs the chance to ask for military support but is once again rejected. The King finally gives in to WAH’s demand and grants his consent to her marriage to KONG. He then asks KONG to set a date for the wedding. KONG is reluctant to take WAH to wife but HIN keeps pressuring him. SZE, having followed HIN’s advice, tries to persuade KONG to marry WAH. Being left with no choice at all, KONG reluctantly agrees to wed WAH. Upon their marriage, the King of New Tang offers KONG a loan of 300,000 soldiers on condition that he agrees to declare himself the new Emperor after the overthrow of TIN’s government. KONG, however, refuses to betray HIN and has therefore infuriated the King immensely……
