0.00 48 minutes Yung-siang sends his men to assassinate Chen Hua. Chen Hua is alert and escapes. Yung-siang orders Ah Ci to try every possible way to kill Chen Hua to avoid any further trouble.
Chen Hua is aided by Uncle Gou and hides in his house. He gets along well with Uncle Gou's grandson Little Wen. Yung-siang hides the fact from Ma Yung that he is pursuing Chen Hua. He orders Yung to be responsible for the shipment of soil. Meanwhile, Mei-li finds that she is expecting and Ma Yung is delighted.
Hsiao-ya finds that Chen Hua is missing. Troubled, she enquiries Shu-chuan about it. However, Shu-chuan has no idea on the whereabouts of Chen Hua. While chatting with Shu-chuan, Hsiao-ya mistakens that Chen Hua and Shu-chuan are in love and is further disappointed.
