Sunshine - Season 1 Episode 1
8.00 60 minutes A luxury Porsche is stolen from a wealthy neighbourhood by Santino, who arrives back in Sunshine to take his teammates Jacob, Deng Deng and Dazzler for a joyride. But by the end of the night a young, teenage girl from the affluent Messina family will be lying in a hospital bed fighting for her life. After another demoralising loss, Jacob decides the Sunshine Kings need a better coach if they are going to have any shot at making the finals. Jacob is determined to win to keep his dream alive: landing a US College basketball scholarship that will set him on the path to his ultimate goal: the NBA. A chance encounter with forgotten local hero, Eddie Grattan, a former American College basketball player in the 1980s, convinces Jacob he has found the coach the team needs. But convincing the misanthropic Eddie to do it doesn't prove easy.
