Quinn, with no powers and deceased parents, is ridiculed and tortured by his peers due to his lack of abilities. At the same time, he has a book his parents left him that he has been unable to open. By chance he gets it to open and wakes up with a "Vampire system" in his head giving him abilities he does not understand yet.
