In an overt parody of the 1982 film The Thing, a malicious shape-shifting alien sneaks aboard the vehicle after disposing of Jimmy to assume his form and enacts a scheme to turn the Battle Wagon into a rocket to return to his galaxy while having the human Aquabat members turned into rocket fuel. Successfully evading capture, Crash must learn to overcome his fears and rescue his pals from certain doom.
