In the end, her father gets injured and KEUNG is asked by the villagers to act in his place. DICK asks KEUNG to establish Chinese sorcery as a religion. However, KEUNG employs delaying tactics and only promises to build him a temple. NAM and the rest return to town to avenge on DICK. In their fight, all of them are arrested by KEUNG. NAM discloses DICK's crimes to KEUNG who pretends to believe in their words. NAM discovers that YUN is bewitched and tries to help her. When YUN learns that she has attempted to kill her father, out of shame, she wants to commit suicide.
