They’d like a bathroom that feels like it’s in a luxurious hotel, but one that is personalized with a few subtle reminders from their native country Indonesia. Paul takes half of the unused space from the bedroom and creates a unified bedroom, dressing room and stunning bathroom. The bathroom includes a curved backlit glass etching that surrounds a large stand-alone tub, and the dressing room has a carved wooden dividing screen with a discreet Indonesian influence. At the shop, Joseph and Candida want a kitchen island bar that’s truly unique and Paul is just the man for the job. He uses fallen trees from the couple’s cottage to create an island bar with a live edge countertop and shelves made from birch trees. The end result is not only functional but is also a one-of-a-kind art piece.
