Micheal Keaton Back for Villain Role in Spider-Man:Homecoming!
It seems the Birdman did not fly the coop after all as Michael Keaton is back as the main villain rumored to be The Vulture in the new Marvel/Sony film Spider-Man Homecoming. Will he be joined by the nefarious Tinkerer, who also appeared way back in Spider-Man #2? What other villains will be in the film? The Heroes Panel mull this over for a great discussion on what we can expect from the new movie.
DC Films names their ‘Feige’ in Geoff Johns
WB made it official by assigning their heads of production to specific genres last week, and Geoff Johns will now spearhead DC Films alongside John Berg. Geoff previously stated he wanted to bring “hope and optimism” to the DC line of announced films. He recently said “My job is to work with many people to get these films going, especially Batman," essentially confirming to the movie that has been mentioned/rumored/discussed. But will he be good for the future of the DC Universe of films at Warner Bros? Thor: Ragnarok Adds a Ton of Talent, Ruffalo says it’s “Hulkier”
Jeff Goldblum is the Grand Master, Karl Urban as Skurge and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie... This amazing line up of talent are part of Thor: Ragnarok. Not good enough? How about the fact that Cate Blanchett will also be in the movie as Hela? Yeah, what an amazing cast. They join the already announced Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and our boy Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Mark Ruffalo also says that the Hulk is even "Hulkier" in the new adventure, and mentions that it's a Banner and Thor intergalactic road flick. He also discusses Blanchett's a Hela saying she is literally a killer. Preacher Debut on AMC This Week
Sunday saw the premiere of the new series on AMC, Preacher; based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s hyper-violent religious saga of the same name. What did we all think? How did Jesse Custer, Cassidy, and Tulip fare in the real world and how close is it to the comics? The Heroes Panel break it down! Michael B Jordan Added to Black Panther
With rumors that Lupita Nyong'o was joining the cast, Michael B Jordan was then announced at officially signing on to be in the film; with many assuming it to be for the lead villain. Ryan Coogler is directing the movie, calling this his most personal film to date. He fancies himself as a lifelong comics fan and reader and that's why he is so excited for the new movie.
Bryan Singer Talks the Future of X-Men Movies
Bryan Singer recently talked about going into the X-Men cosmos in the next feature after X-Men: Apocalypse. But where can they go, is this going to be the beginning of the Dark Phoenix Saga done right? Will the Star-jammers play a role, and will Professor X meet up with Lilandra? Singer also talked X-Force stating that Simon Kinberg is currently working on a rough draft, which will feature the female Wolverine or X-23. He would like to do a big crossover but it must be done right.
